Colon cleansing can help improve your body’s overall health and wellness, and may even reduce your risks for colon cancer.

A colonic is a safe and effective method of cleansing the colon of waste material. The colon or large intestine is the end portion of the digestive tract and is five feet long and about two and a half inches in diameter. A colonic flushes and cleanses the entire colon.

How do Colonics benefit the Colon?

  • Colonics help to cleanse, exercise and reshape the colon.

  • Colonics cleanse the colon by removing both current and old or impacted waste material.

  • The movement of the water and the gentle massage technique improves peristaltic contractions. These contractions help move waste material through the colon and are essential in proper bowel function.

  • Problem conditions often misshape the colon. The gentle action of the water helps to reshape the colon. Slowly, the expanded walls contract and the constrictions expand so that proper function can resume.

Lessening the toxicity level in the colon benefits the whole body! Clients with chronic constipation, colitis, diarrhea, back pain and parasitic infection also report improvement.

Clients Report:

Increased Energy        Fewer Headaches      Clearer Skin        Fewer Aches & Pains        Improved Digestion

How do I know if I need a Colonic?

Is your bowel functioning properly? A fully functioning bowel empties itself shortly after every meal. The elimination process should be almost effortless and take about ten seconds. A well-formed stool is large in diameter and long, mirroring the shape of the colon. If this is not your present experience, your colon is not functioning at top form. A colonic may be indicated.

How is this procedure accomplished?

The procedure is safe, odorless and discreet. Water enters the body through a proctoscope gently inserted into the rectum. Rubber tubing carries water into the body and waste material out. The water is gravity fed and has a psi of 1/10. There is neither odor nor mess. The client is fully covered throughout the treatment. A gentle abdominal massage also aids in the release of waste material. The entire procedure takes twenty to forty five minutes and is virtually symptom free.

How many colonics do I need?

Generally speaking, it is good to come once a week for 4 to 6 weeks. After that you may come bimonthly or monthly. If your colon is functioning well, fewer colonics are required. If however your goal is to re-establish proper bowel function, then a series of colonics may be required. In addition, dietary changes and herbal supplements may be indicated.

How can I best prepare for the colonic?

It is good to eat lightly (veggies steamed, salads, veggie juices) the night before the colonic and day of the colonic. Drink plenty of pure water (at least 8 glasses) the day before and day of the colonic. Take 2 tbsp of ground flax seeds a day. Add them to smoothies, water, or juice. Take 1 cup of licorice tea the day before and day of the colonic. (Please omit this step if you have high blood pressure.) This helps to loosen the stool in the colon. You may find flax seeds and licorice tea at health food stores.

Can I still have a colonic if I am menstruating?

It is safe and okay to have a colonic at this time. There is no problem and it is a great time to cleanse the bowel as the body is naturally cleansing at this time.
